• Table of Contents missing?
  If you cannot find it under “View” in the Menu Bar, look under “Window” in the Menu Bar.
  
  Cannot edit a feature or its attribute in Layout View - wrong!
  Actually, you can work with features and elements as though you were in Data View while you are in the Layout View. First you must Focus the Data Frame. Refer to “focusing data frames” in ArcGIS Help.
